Glazing Classes

What to Expect

Join us for Part II of our pottery-making series, where you’ll transform your clay creations into finished, food-safe ceramics! In this session, you’ll learn the art of glazing—applying a thin layer of pigmented glass (glaze) to customize your piece with colors, patterns, and designs using brushes. After glazing, your pottery will be fired in a 2000-degree kiln, completing its transformation into a durable ceramic piece ready for everyday use. Whether you’re adding bold colors or subtle textures, this step brings your creation to life Price is PER PERSON. You can glaze up to 3 pieces during our 2 hour glazing session. If you prefer to pick up a finished product our staff will glaze 1 piece with a sleek, single color finish here https://www.thepotteryloop.com/product-page/single-color-glazing Do NOT book glazing the same day as your wheel class. Please allow at least 1 week after the class to allow your piece to properly dry first. Glazing is not included in the wheel class -- but is equally as important in the process. Without the glazing and firing your piece will just be shaped and fragile clay All unglazed pieces are held for 30 days to maintain shelf space. Please message us if you made a piece >30 days ago. We appreciate you being mindful of studio space.
